Activity

a. Celebration of Birth Anniversary of Dr S.R. Ranganathan

        The Library organizes of birth anniversary of Dr.S.R.Ranganathan on 12 August. To inculcate reading habits and develop quality collection in library two days book exhibition is organized. The students and staff members visit the exhibition and recommend books. The books selected by students are subject to approval of head and subject experts.

b. Vachan Prerana Din

        The library celebrates VachanPrerana Din in memory of Late Dr A.P.J. Kalam on 15 October. To enhance reading habits, activities like Authors’ Talk, visit to nearby library, compilation of information are organized for students.

c. Workshop/Guest Lectures

        1. Workshop on Intellectual Property Rights
2. Guest Lecture on Role of E-resources in Teaching Learning process
3. Awareness of E-resources and searching techniques

Book Exhibition

Essay Writing Competition

        It helps express feelings and thoughts to the other in a relatively permanent way and helps express thoughts, feelings, ideas and beliefs. Writing encourages and enhances critical thinking, creative thinking and helps in organising thoughts and improve communication skills.

        The College Library Instruction program aims to build information competency in students.
