1. Introduction of Department:

“Computer science is not just for smart 'nerds' in hoodies coding in basements. Coding is extremely creative and is an integral part of almost every industry”.

        The Department of Computer Science was established in year 2001. The department offers UG program in Computer Science, having well equipped spacious laboratories for conducting the practical. The Objectives of the department is prepare students for graduate training in some specialized area of computer science. Educate students to be successful, ethical, and effective problem-solvers using computers and life-long learners who will contribute positively to our Region and Nation.

Advancement of the Department:

        The Department of Computer Science started in year 2001 with UG program Computer Science. The department is striving to achieve academic excellence, it is the pride of the department that the students of the department achieve ranks in the University Examination. Majority of the students score 1 st class & distinction in the University Examination. Department runs various activities throughout the session like students’ Seminar, Project, Group Discussion as per the curriculum.

2. Present status:

        The department has well equipped and well-furnished laboratories with all modern facilities for performing different programing languages with different operating system. and also developed web based project using high programing languages.

  • Demonstrate proficiency in problem-solving techniques using the computer
  • Demonstrate proficiency in at least two high-level programming languages and two operating systems
  • Demonstrate proficiency in the analysis of complex problems and the synthesis of solutions to those problems
  • Demonstrate comprehension of modern software engineering principles
  • Demonstrate a breadth and depth of knowledge in the discipline of computer science
