Maharashtra Information Technology Support Center is registered under the Society Act 1860 We have been working for the noble cause of youth empowerment. Since 2006, our work has been dominantly targeted towards the state of Maharashtra. We focus majorly on helping bridge the gap between industrial demands for employees and lack of skills in graduated students, through provision of modem, job specific and technical skill development among the youth. We are associated with more than 8 Multi-Faculty Universities in the State of Maharashtra, this association is through the Higher & Technical Ministries of the Government of Maharashtra. We have a motto, of creating valuable human resource to help the state achieve economic autonomy for availability of skilled local employment and help facilitate the production, by working to develop entrepreneurial skills among the youth. We are working with Government of India & the Government of Maharashtra to implement their various projects & programs related to skill development and empowerment of youth Our efforts & initiatives in this field will be ultimately useful for National development with National productivity.
During this span of a decade, we have provided services to more than 33 thousand young students in 8 universities covering 25 districts. We are efficiently implementing the schemes & programs with the help of a network of more than 100 Youth Welfare Centers. We are playing a catalytic role, in collaboration with more than thousands of industries by providing them human resources & at the same time providing employment to the youth. Our activities & programs are multidimensional, presently we have focused on 8 sectors in the skill development programs with a balanced view of gender sensitivity approach. We are also empowering Self Help Groups (SHGs), focusing on the sectors like IT, Apparel making & Bakery Products Our efforts are concentrated towards organized plans to help the academic institutes and the corporate world to provide various special services for quality enhancement in the higher education and corporate management. Our target for the next Decade is to train the youth across Maharashtra for the economic development and social improvement of the state, simultaneously increasing the efficiency of education to create great human resource for a youthful country.
Career Katta is initiated jointly by the Maharashtra Information Technology Support Centre (MITSC) and Maharashtra State Higher and Technical Department. Its motto is to provide value-added skilled human resources. To develop entrepreneurial skills among the youth it has started 'Udyojak Aaplya Bhetila', and to make the burocrates and Officers it has started IAS Aaplya Bhetila. Only 365/- charge for three years. The tremendous video lecture provides freely through its youtube channel.
